Approaching 30 years in the field, Timothy Orenic has worked his way up from a volunteer firefighter and paramedic in Illinois to his current position as EMS field coordinator in Las Vegas. In his present role Mr. Orenic has multiple responsibilities. These include oversight of daily operational activities, Incident Commander for complex EMS operations, and EMS trainer. In this session, Mr. Orenic will share how Las Vegas Fire & Rescue swiftly handled and managed the EMS response during the recent shooting incident, and discuss key lessons learned.
